More than 800 athletes will come to Bashkiria for "We are together. Sport" Spartakiad

More than 800 athletes will attend Bashkiria for the All-Russian Winter Spartakiad "We are together. Sport." This was announced during a working meeting in the republic's government dedicated to the sporting event.

Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria—Minister of Sports of the Republic Ruslan Khabibov, who chaired the meeting, noted that the upcoming Spartakiad is a significant event for the republic.

"The sporting event will unite the leading deaf athletes of our country. We will make every effort to ensure that the competitions are held at the highest organizational level and the participants fully experience our Bashkir hospitality," said Ruslan Khabibov.

The All-Russian Spartakiad competitions, which will be held in Ufa (cross-country skiing, snowboarding, hockey, futsal, and chess) and Ishimbay (curling), will be held among the subjects of the Russian Federation, disabled people, and people with limited health capabilities in winter disciplines of the sport "deaf sports."

Maxim Urazov, director of the Department of Physical Culture and Mass Sports of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, noted that the republic can always count on the department's support.

"With Bashkortostan, it is reliable. Undoubtedly, the competitions will be held at the highest organizational level. It is enough to remember how brightly and on a large scale the republic held the International Forum "Russia - a Sports Power," and the Summer Games of Deaflympics "We are together. Sport". And there are many such examples," said Maxim Urazov.

The Winter Spartakiad "We are together. Sport" will be held from February 6 to February 14. The opening ceremony will occur in the Ufa Wrestling Palace, and the closing ceremony will occur in the Sports Palace.
