Dmitry Chernyshenko called canoe slalom complex in Ufa unique

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko, summing up the federal project "Sport is the Norm of Life" in the country's government, separately noted the canoe slalom complex in Ufa.

"Over the 5 years of the federal project, "Sport is the Norm of Life," about 500 sports facilities were built, hundreds of sites were modernized, and tens of thousands of specialists were trained. More than 23 million Russians participate in the GTO movement, revived on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin. 14 million of them have already successfully met the standards. This is an important step towards achieving our goal by 2030 - 70% of Russian citizens regularly engage in physical education and sports. The created sports infrastructure has covered all regions of Russia. For example, a unique canoe slalom complex has opened in Ufa," said Dmitry Chernyshenko. Let us recall that on October 18, the grand opening of the first stage of a rowing complex, which has no analogs in Europe, took place in Ufa. It was built within the federal project "Sport is the Norm of Life" of the national project "Demography." The cost of construction was 825.6 million rubles.
