Sports in Bashkiria were breakthrough of 2024 - Radiy Khabirov states

In Bashkiria, the sports life of the republic became a big breakthrough in the outgoing 2024. The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, emphasized this today at the final operational meeting of the government in the Republic Management Center.

"I believe that sports were the breakthrough of the year. The International Forum "Russia - a Sports Power" was held at a high level - a very important event with the participation of the President, at which the key areas of sports development in the country and regions are formed. We built the Wrestling Palace, the Fencing Center, the first stage of the complex of facilities for canoe slalom by the forum opening. In addition, the Ulfat Mustafin Sports Training Center with a swimming pool, skating rink, and multi-purpose gym, two sports and recreation centers within the framework of the federal project "Business Sprint" were opened in Ufa and a sports center with a swimming pool "Amphibia" in Neftekamsk," said Radiy Khabirov.

We will add that today Radiy Khabirov also appointed the Minister of Sports of Bashkortostan Ruslan Khabibov as acting deputy prime minister of the government of the republic.
