Tennis brothers from Ufa win silver at international tournament in Turkey
The Minister of Sports of the Republic of Belarus, Ruslan Khabibov, said Brothers Viktor and Mikhey Sidorov from Ufa won a silver medal at the international wheelchair tennis tournament in Turkey.
Khabibov noted that in the semi-finals, Viktor and Mikhey defeated representatives of England and Turkey. In the final match, our athletes lost to tennis players from Iraq.
In addition, Viktor Sidorov won the consolation tournament's singles and received a Wild card (special invitation) to the next tournament.
Earlier, Bashinform reported that the Russian government will pay 4 million rubles for gold medals at the 2024 Olympics.
