Bashkiria to have 14 ski resorts this winter

This winter, Bashkiria will again confirm its status as the country's ski tourism center. This season, 14 ski resorts with 60 trails of varying length and difficulty will operate in the republic, the head of the region, Radiy Khabirov, reported on his Telegram channel.

Since December has been poorly snowed, only the Abzakovo and Bannoe ski resorts are open in the republic today. Mratkino and Kush-Tau only accept athletes on training slopes. The remaining centers, including Ufa's Olympic Park and Ak Yort, will not open until the end of next week.

The head of the republic promised that three new trails would appear this season in the ski resorts in the Alsheevsky, Nurimanovskiy, and Uchalinsky districts.

"All cable cars and lifts have undergone the necessary maintenance and are ready for operation. The owners have taken care of the comfort and safety of visitors - there are doctors, rescuers, instructors everywhere," wrote Radiy Khabirov.

After the snow finally falls on the ski slopes of the Trans-Urals, they plan to launch the traditional tourist train "Legend of the Urals." Let us recall that last season the electric train carried more than 11 thousand passengers.
