Ufa footballers will play for foreign teams

Ufa FC goalkeeper Oleg Baklov has been called up to the Tajikistan national team, which will play friendly matches with the Nepal and Afghanistan national teams in Dushanbe. Midfielder Valery Bocherov has been invited to the Belarus national team, which will participate in the UEFA Nations League matches against Northern Ireland and Bulgaria. The matches will take place in Belfast and Sofia. This was reported on the club's official website.

Recall that Oleg Baklov is a native of Tajikistan. In July 2023, he signed a contract with FC Ufa. In an interview in March 2024, he spoke about his plans to play for the Tajikistan national team, noting that his career in football is just beginning. Valery Bocherov is a citizen of Belarus; he has previously played for its national team. Earlier, Bashinform reported how FC Ufa won against Volgograd Rotor.
