Head of Bashkiria spoke about Doors Open Day at Wrestling Palace
The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, shared his impressions about how the Doors Open Day was being held at the Wrestling Palace in Ufa on his Telegram channel.
“This is not the Moscow metro during rush hour — this is our Wrestling Palace,” Radiy Khabirov noted, attaching a video and photos to his post. “Today, we are holding a Doors Open Day here for those who have already signed up for the classes.”
As the head of the region said, the children will be practicing judo, sambo, grappling, and freestyle wrestling here.
“This is our goal — for as many children as possible to play sports. I am glad that there are so many of them today. And we will try to organize the work at the Palace so everyone feels comfortable,” Radiy Khabirov concluded.
As reported by Bashinform, the opening of the Wrestling Palace became one of the main gifts for the residents of Ufa and the republic on August 31, 2024, in honor of the 450th anniversary of the capital of Bashkortostan.
