The "Krai Kurai" competitions have started in the new canoe slalom complex in Ufa

The head of the administration of the Kalininsky district of Ufa, Gazizyan Akhmedyanov, reported on his Telegram channel about the first official starts that the new canoe slalom complex in Inorsa hosted.

"The qualification swims of the "Krai Kurai" international competitions have begun among men and women. And in the afternoon, the qualification in the discipline "Extreme Slalom" will take place. The competitions are being held as part of the "Russia - a Sports Power" forum and will last two days," said Gazizyan Akhmedyanov.

As reported by Bashinform, the forum "Russia - a Sports Power" will be held in Ufa from October 17 to 19. It is expected that 5 thousand delegates from 100 countries will participate. Over three days, over 40 events will be held at eight venues in the capital of Bashkortostan. Among them are sports competitions, a cultural program, business sessions, and a meeting of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports.

Earlier, Ufa solemnly welcomed Russian Olympians, who appreciated Bashkortostan's contribution to developing domestic sports.

The program of the first day of the most significant event includes meetings, round tables, and cultural and sports events.
