Ufa hosts Urambairam street sports festival

Ufa hosts the Urambairam street sports festival, which has become an actual holiday for fans of an active lifestyle.

The event attracted over four thousand athletes and spectators, offering them a program full of exciting events. As the organizers reported to Bashinform, the festival included 3x3 basketball, phygital basketball, and break dance championship tournaments. 139 teams from Bashkortostan, neighboring regions, and the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the 3x3 championship. 198 people took part in the break dance tournament. 12 teams played phygital basketball.

The festival delighted the audience with the exciting acro-dunk show "Flying Basketball Players," the only show of the most excellent tricks of its kind, drone races, a sketching master class, and performances by dance groups. Music sets from top DJs and a diverse concert program complemented the festive atmosphere. Urambairam became a unique platform uniting professionals and fans of various street culture trends. The key moment of the festival was the grand opening, where three teams were presented that will represent our republic in basketball tournaments in the new season. This is a new professional team playing in the Major League - "Dynamo," a participant in the "Student League of Russian Railways" team "Ufimets" and a team platform for training young and promising players, raising future basketball stars "Dynamo-Junior." The festival guests warmly welcomed the players. The guests of the ceremony were: Senator of the Russian Federation, representative of the State Assembly - Kurultai of the Republic of Bashkortostan Oleg Golov, Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan Elza Karamurzina, Head of the Administration of the Blagoveshchensky District Anna Karabanova, First Deputy Head of the Regional Branch of the Physical Culture and Sports Society "Dynamo" of the Republic of Bashkortostan, six-time world champion in biathlon Maxim Chudov, Advisor to the Head of Bashkortostan on Sports Rustem Akhmadinurov.
