Russia — Sports Power Forum invites guests

Registration for the XII International Sports Forum “Russia—Sports Power” is open. Future participants can submit applications on the event website. The large-scale sports event will be held in Ufa on October 17-19.

The forum, which will include professional athletes and sports fans worldwide, will be held in the capital's Wrestling Palace.

 In addition to sports events, the forum will feature a plenary session, about 50 round tables, plenary sessions, conferences, seminars, and discussion platforms with the participation of industry experts and government officials, as well as a cultural program. Also, the exhibition “Modern Sports. Innovations and Prospects” will be open throughout the forum. It is expected that at least 5,000 people will come to the capital of Bashkortostan.

Earlier, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, emphasized that preparations for the forum are in full swing.

“Bashkortostan, as one of the leading sports regions of the country, has been successfully holding major competitions for many years. The World Junior Wrestling Championship, the Summer Deaflympics Games, and the First International Games of National and Non-Olympic Sports were the bright events that our republic hosted. We are now actively preparing for the country's main sports forum, "Russia - a Sports Power." We are working within the framework of the corresponding "road map." The event's main venue will be the Wrestling Palace. We will also offer a rich leisure program for the forum participants. We will introduce them to Bashkortostan's multinational culture, traditions, and history. Undoubtedly, the forum will become a powerful incentive for the further development of physical culture and sports in the republic and the country. We thank you for such trust in the region," said Radiy Khabirov.

Deputy Minister of Sports of Russia Alexander Nikitin praised Bashkiria's preparation for the "Russia - a Sports Power" international forum.

"We assess the readiness as high today. We have an inspection visit, and we have carefully examined everything. We will do our utmost to support the republic," said Alexander Nikitin.

Russian President Vladimir Putin invited athletes worldwide to participate in the Russia — Sports Power forum.

The head of state addressed the participants of the 11th International Forum Russia—Sports Power, which was held in Perm last October.

"The Russia—Sports Power forum will be held next year. Traditionally, it takes place in different cities of our vast country. This time, it will be the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan—Ufa. Forum guests will participate in festive events and get acquainted with the culture, history, and heritage of another distinctive, very interesting, and diverse region of Russia," Vladimir Putin addressed the forum participants.
