Russia approves payment amounts for Paralympians

The Russian government has approved a resolution on incentives for Paralympians. Winners and prize winners of the Paralympic and Deaflympic tournaments "We are together. Sport" and their coaches will receive cash bonuses.

We are talking about the champions and medalists of the 2023 Summer Paralympic Games, the 2023 Summer Deaflympic Games, and the 2024 Winter Paralympic Games.

For a gold medal, athletes are entitled to 358.4 thousand rubles; for silver - 179.2 thousand; for bronze - 107.5 thousand rubles.

The coaches who trained the champions will receive 137.2 thousand rubles, and the mentors of the silver and bronze medalists will receive 67.6 thousand and 40.96 thousand rubles, respectively.

Specialists working in the coaching staff that trained the game winners and medalists will also receive cash rewards. They will receive 34.3 thousand rubles for a gold medal, 16.9 thousand rubles for a silver award, and 10.24 thousand rubles for a bronze medal.

More than 1 billion rubles will reward athletes, coaches, and specialists.

In mid-October 2024, Ufa will host participants and guests of the International Forum "Russia - a Sports Power."
