"Russia —Sports Power" Forum to be attended by guests from 100 countries

More than 100 countries are expected to participate in the "Russia—Sports Power" forum in Ufa, which was announced at the Eastern Economic Forum by State Secretary—Deputy Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Alexander Nikitin.

"One of our tasks is to unite all countries striving for the depoliticization of sports. We see what is happening in many areas of world sports and are not happy with this. We will work. All areas are being carefully worked out. The forum is a starting point for applying new developments and methods. And this year's forum in Ufa will not be an exception; it will even set a new tone for this work. In 2024, representatives of more than 100 countries are expected to participate," Match TV quotes Alexander Nikitin as saying.

The Minister of Sports of Bashkortostan, Ruslan Khabibov, participated in the IX Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. He presented a presentation on the forum "Russia—Sports Power" to his colleagues.

Yesterday, President Vladimir Putin invited a delegation from Mongolia to the “Russia —Sports Power” forum in Ufa, where the head of state met with the country’s president, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh.

The international forum “Russia —Sports Power” will be held in Ufa from October 17 to 19 at the Wrestling Palace.
