Sambo wrestler from Bashkiria wins gold at international competitions

Sambo wrestler Aliya Mukhametyanova from Bashkiria has won the international Grand Prix competitions. The republic's Ministry of Sports reports that the athlete won the gold medal in sambo in the weight category up to 50 kg.

28 of the country's best athletes met in St. Petersburg to determine the participants of the Grand Prix final, which will be held in Kazan in December. Aliya Mukhametyanova was not equal in her weight category.
