Ufa to host international strongman tournament

Ufa will host an international strongman tournament for the city's 450th anniversary. Weightlifters will compete in Kashkadan Park.

Russia's most muscular man, Elbrus Nigmatullin, said that strongmen from Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan will participate in the tournament. He noted that Ufa residents and guests of the capital will be able to see the competition between the world champion from Belgorod, David Shamei, and the World Cup winner, Valery Savin, from Surgut. World-class strongman "Threat from Asia" Muhammad-Ali Tokhtomatov from Kyrgyzstan will also compete for the title.

The international strongman tournament will be held on August 31 in the Kashkadan Park at noon.
