In 2024, the famous athlete from Bashkortostan Alsu Minazova became a five-time champion of Russia in canoeing and kayaking. The Minister of Sports of the Republic, Ruslan Khabibov, announced her achievement.
The competition was held in the Moscow Region. Alsu Minazova won six medals at once, five of which were gold. She finished first in disciplines such as sprint slalom in a single canoe, slalom in a kayak, and a canoe in a pair, and extreme slalom (qualification). She won silver in extreme slalom.

Earlier, Alsu Minazova became the champion of Russia in canoe slalom. She won the gold medal in the new category of canoe slalom "sprint race," the Bashinform News Agency reported.
