Bashkortostan changed the regulations on monetary incentives for athletes who won prizes at the Olympic, Paralympic, Deaflympic, and Youth Olympic Games, as well as in world and European competitions as part of the Russian national teams. The decree of the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, was published on the official legal information portal of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The document states that athletes who take first place at the World Championship will receive 500 thousand rubles, and those who take second and third place will receive 300 thousand rubles and 200 thousand rubles, respectively.
For victory at the European Championship, the All-Russian Spartakiad among the strongest athletes and the BRICS Games - 250 thousand rubles, 200 thousand rubles, and 100 thousand rubles. Athletes will receive the same prize money for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in the overall World Cup standings.
In the overall standings of the European Cup, the World Universiade, the European Games, and other tournaments in which the athlete participated as part of the Russian national teams, he will receive 150 thousand rubles for first place, 100 thousand rubles for second place, and 75 thousand rubles for third place. At the World Championship - 200 thousand rubles, 150 thousand rubles, and 100 thousand rubles, respectively. At the European Championship, the Russian Championship - 100 thousand rubles, 75 thousand rubles, and 50 thousand rubles.
Earlier, it became known that the winners and prize-winners of the BRICS sports games and their coaches would receive cash rewards. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the decree on this.
