

Russian tennis players Mirra Andreeva, 17, and Diana Schneider, 20, lost in the final to the Italians Errani and Paolini (6:2, 1:6, 7:10) and won silver medals.
Mirra Andreeva, a native of Krasnoyarsk, became the youngest Olympic medalist in tennis since 1992.
Meanwhile, in the individual category, Andreeva lost to Magda Linett of Poland, and Schneider lost to Wang Xiyu of China.
