The final matches of the boxing tournament as part of the IX All-Russian Summer Universiade 2024 among juniors and junior women have ended in Ufa. More than 150 athletes from all over the country came to the capital of Bashkiria. This is stated on the website of the government of the republic.

Among the athletes from the republic, Azalia Amineva and Karina Yusupova were the first to take the first places. Second place was awarded to Regina Belousova, Alina Mustaeva, and Aida Faizullina. Angelina Polovnikova, Airat Yandurin, Khozhiakbar Mamayusupov, Ildar Akbarov, and Bekhan Israilov took third place on the podium.

“The main highlight of the women’s final was the fight in the weight category up to 66 kg. Two-time Russian champion, winner of BRICS sports games, and native of Oktyabrsky (Republic of Bashkortostan) Azalia Amineva met with her principal rival Albina Moldazhanova.
