Bashkortostan runners won five medals at athletics tournament in Saransk
The regional Ministry of Sports reported that Bashkiria's athletes won prizes at the Russian Championship and Championship in Athletics for Sports for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, which were held in Saransk.
Alexander Rabotnitsky finished first at a distance of 800 meters and third at a distance of 1500 meters. Ekaterina Zvereva won silver in the 1500 meters and 800 meters.
At the championship, Elizaveta Khaustova won the bronze medal; she closed the top three medalists at a distance of 3000 meters.
