Canoeist from Bashkiria Ilya Pervukhin won silver at the 2024 BRICS Games.

The Ministry of Sports of the Republic reported that the Bashkir athlete and his compatriot Ivan Likhovidov won a silver medal in the “canoe-double” discipline for a distance of 1000 meters.

The Bashinform News Agency reported that foil wrestler Timur Safin from Ufa won the silver medal at the BRICS Games, and Greco-Roman wrestler Nokhcho Labazanov from Bashkiria won gold.
