Artur Zulkarnaev from Bashkiria won gold at BRICS Games
The Bashkortostan team won another gold medal at the BRICS Games. Artur Zulkarnaev received the sixth-highest award. The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, announced the wrestler's victory.
“Our Artur Zulkarnaev became a champion in Koresh wrestling. In the final, our wrestler won a confident victory over Mehdi Hajiyev from Azerbaijan. Congratulations!" — the head of the republic wrote on his Telegram channel.
Radiy Khabirov recalled that tomorrow, the final fight, in which Ufa boxer Azalia Amineva will take part, as well as bouts between Bashkir belt wrestlers, will take place.
Today, canoeist from Bashkiria Ilya Pervukhin became the silver medalist of the BRICS Games.
