Athletes from Bashkiria will perform at World Universal Fight Championship

For the first time in the republic's history, three athletes from Bashkiria became prize-winners of the Russian championship in Universal Fight. The Minister of Sports of the Republic, Ruslan Khabibov, spoke about this.

Arina Makarova won a gold medal (weight category 62 kg), Anna Kopteliny won a silver medal (weight category 52 kg), and Ekaterina Aitukova (weight category 52 kg) won bronze.

The girls were included in the Russian national team following the tournament results. Now, they will represent our country at the World Championships in Baku.

The Universal Fight tournament in the “Means of Defense” discipline was held in Domodedovo, near Moscow. These competitions were also the first in Russian sports history.
