BRICS sports games official start was given in Kazan

The official start of the sports games of the BRICS countries has been given in Kazan. The competition will be held in the capital of Tatarstan from June 12 to 23 at 16 sports facilities. More than 4,000 foreign participants from 97 countries are expected to take part in the events.

As Bashinform previously reported, eighteen athletes from Bashkiria will perform as part of the Russian national team at the sports games.

The team of our country included Azalia Amineva, Khazhiakbar Mamayusupov and Bekhan Israilov (boxing), Alina Davletova (badminton), Artur Zulkarnaev (koresh), Nokhcho Labazanov (wrestling), Alena Fatykhova, Alina Pukhova, Zamira Kusaeva, Ilfak Ibatullin, Razil Shabiev, Ainur Syrtaev (belt wrestling), Timur Safin and Vladislav Zhuravlev (fencing), Ernest Sharafutdinov, Anna Kudryavtseva, Aigul Sadykova (karate), Ilya Pervukhin (kayaking and canoeing).
