Athletes will run 450 km to honor Ufa’s anniversary

From June 14 to 16, a unique relay race will be held in Ufa to honor the city's 450th anniversary. The total length of the route will be 450 km, and the size of the stage will be 10 km, so both trained athletes and beginners can take part. 450 people are planned to participate.

According to the press service of the Ufa City Hall, a stage in a relay race is a segment of the distance that one of the participants in the relay team overcomes. Each leg is performed by a team member who receives and then passes the baton or other symbolic item to the next member after completing their leg.

It is noted that it took participants two days to cover a distance of 450 km.
