International tournament champions will receive benefits when entering universities in Russia
State Duma deputies adopted a bill in the second reading to benefit winners of international competitions when entering higher educational institutions. This is stated in the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture and Sports Telegram channel.
The list of tournaments, a crucial aspect of the bill, will be meticulously approved by the Russian Federation's government. This ensures that the benefits are extended to athletes who have excelled in internationally recognized competitions. The bill also aims to support Russian athletes who cannot compete in international competitions and, importantly, guarantees the social adaptation of athletes after their careers end.
