Athletes from Bashkiria won five medals at the Russian youth championship in hundred-square checkers, which takes place in the Moscow region. The Ministry of Sports of the Republic reports this.
The department specified that representatives received awards in the “blitz” and “rapid” disciplines from Ufa and Ishimbay. Daniil Ilyin (juniors under 27) won two gold medals, and Sofya Stepanova (girls under 17) won one. “Bronze” went to Tamerlan Akhmerov (juniors under 27) and Adele Gazizova (girls under 17).
