

Biathlete Eduard Latypov won the pursuit race at the Russian Biathlon Championship, which takes place in Tyumen. The athlete finished third at a distance of 12.5 km (36:35), the Ministry of Sports of Bashkiria reported. Ivan Kolotov took first place (36:35), and Alexander Loginov took second (44.45).
It should be noted that after the second shooting, the results surprised many fans. Eduard Latypov completed the lap last. Also among the latter were the leaders of previous tournaments, Dmitry Lazovsky and Alexander Povarnitsyn.
Let us add that the team of Bashkir biathletes also includes Anton Babikov, Alexander Babchin, Danil Materkov, and Ilya Burlakov. Karina Bakhtina, Ilona Znakova, Anastasia Aigildina, and Maria Dubrovskaya defend the republic's honor in the women's team.
