The goalkeeper of HC Salavat Yulaev Ilya Ezhov has completed his hockey career, and defenseman Evgeny Biryukov is still thinking about whether to stay in the team or not. At the final press conference, the head coach of Salavat, Yulaev Viktor Kozlov, stated this.

The Bashinform news agency reported that the Salavat Yulaev hockey club signed a contract with goalkeeper Ilya Yezhov in May 2022. Yezhov played for Spartak Moscow in the 2021–2022 KHL season and previously won the Gagarin Cup with SKA St. Petersburg.
