Semyon Elistratov won silver at Spartakiad

Ufa short-track speed skater Semyon Elistratov won a silver medal at the Spartakiad of the Strongest. The athlete’s victory was reported by the Ministry of Sports of Bashkiria.

Semyon Elistratov finished second at a distance of 1500 meters.

Earlier, before the Spartakiad of the Strongest, Ufa biathlete Anton Babikov won the prologue in a duel shooting, the Bashinform News Agency reported.

The Spartakiad of the Strongest is a large-scale tournament for Russia's 2023-2024 winter season. The competition is analogous to the Olympic Games. The competitions are scheduled on approximately the same dates as the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Sochi ten years ago. The Spartakiad medals will be awarded from February 9 to 18.
