

The Ministry of Sports of Bashkiria has concluded several cooperation agreements with Belarus' sports federations. The signing of the documents took place today, February 9, in Minsk, the department reported.
The Minister of Sports of Bashkiria, Ruslan Khabibov, met with the Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Kovalchuk. In a conversation with his Belarusian colleague, Ruslan Khabibov noted that Bashkiria and Belarus have long cooperated. Both republics have extensive experience hosting sporting events in Bashkiria and Belarus.
Sergei Kovalchuk noted that the departments intend to continue to increase cooperation in sports development.
As part of the meeting, the Ministry of Sports of Bashkiria signed cooperation agreements with the Belarusian Equestrian Federation and the Belarusian Biathlon Federation. The agreements refer to assistance in preparing sports reserves and athletes of the highest sports skill, as well as holding physical education and sports events on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and Bashkortostan.
“The key point of the meeting was the signing of several important and long-term agreements that will allow us to develop and popularize sports even more effectively, implement socially significant projects, and simply share important experiences,” noted Ruslan Khabibov.
