Greco-Roman wrestlers from Bashkiria successfully competed at Volga Federal District championship in Kazan

Wrestlers from Bashkiria successfully competed at the Volga Federal District championship in Greco-Roman wrestling in Kazan. According to the Ministry of Sports of the Republic, the junior athletes won a gold, three silver, and two bronze medals.

In the 130 kg weight category, the title of the strongest in the district was contested by two athletes of the republic, Semyon Panov and Zhora Oganesyan, who became the strongest. Silver went to Semyon Panov.

Anton Teplov won the silver medal in the 55 kg category. Alijon Burkhonov won another silver medal.

The bronze medal in the 67 kg category was won by Danila Potapov and Linar Sagitov in the 77 kg category.
