Nikita Bogdanov from the Ufa took first place at the fourth stage of the Russian motorcycle ice racing championship, which ended in Saransk, and came close to the championship leader Dinar Valeev from Mega-Lada. Having scored 29 points over two days of racing, he was one point ahead of Dmitry Solyannikov from Torpedo-SHAAZ and three points ahead of Dinar Valeev.
On the first day, when racing occurred at zero temperature and continuous snowfall, Nikita Bogdanov scored 15 points. In the second, he lost only one point, losing to Dmitry Khomitsevich from Kamensk-Uralsky.
Races with his main rivals from the top three ended in his victory. As a result, the second victory at the stage in the national championship in 2024 and the first in this calendar year.
Let us remind you that Nikita Bogdanov became the winner of the first stage, held in Tolyatti, in December. In Kamensk-Uralsky and Shadrinsk, he took third places, and if we take the results for each racing day, Bogdanov has four first, one second, and two third places.
The current victories do not look as impressive as last year's, but this only speaks of the increased strength of his rivals, increasing the value of these victories.
After four stages or eight races, Dinar Valeev is ahead - by 107 points, Nikita Bogdanov - by 106, and Dmitry Solyannikov - by 101.
The next stage of the Russian personal championship will occur in two weeks in Vyatskie Polyany. Next weekend, the third and fourth stages of the national championship among Super League teams will be held in Tolyatti.
