Skeleton racer from Bashkiria Alexander Tretyakov won silver at the Russian Cup in Sochi. The athlete became the second in the sum of two descents.

As the Ministry informed the Bashinform News Agency of Sports of the Republic, the competitions in the Krasnodar Territory were held in difficult weather conditions. The skeleton racer had to compete in the pouring rain, and the track was covered with frost.

Let us remember that Alexander Tretyakov is a native of Krasnoyarsk. The skeleton skater has been competing for Bashkiria since December 2020. He joined the Russian national team and participated in the XXIV Winter Olympic Games in 2022.
