As part of the federal targeted investment program, 22 new sports facilities will appear in Russia. Each project costs 3 billion rubles, reports the Federal Ministry of Construction press service.
One of the 22 facilities is the wrestling Center in Ufa. It is designed for various types of wrestling, including Greco-Roman, freestyle and women's, pankration, and grappling. It is also planned to host world championships and Russian competitions in the complex.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency wrote that, at the moment, the Center is 32% ready. The construction of the International Wrestling Center was started in August 2019 by the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov. The Head of the Republic laid a time capsule at the foundation of the future modern sports facility, appealing to future generations. In November 2021, the Center was included in the list of facilities that will be built in Ufa for its 450th anniversary.
Objects are implemented by the main managers of federal budget funds: the Ministry of Sports of Russia, PPK “Single Customer,” and others.
In addition, this year, the Ministry of Sports of Russia, under the state program of the Russian Federation, “Development of Physical Culture and Sports,” completed the construction and commissioning of 39 facilities. Activities are being implemented as part of the enlarged events of the FAIP. Objects worth less than 3 billion rubles are included in the enlarged measures.
