Preparations for “Russia is a Sports Power” Forum begin in Ufa

XII International Forum “Russia is a Sports Power” will be held in Ufa in 2024. The Minister of Sports of Bashkiria, Ruslan Khabibov, noted today during a government meeting that this sporting event will become a landmark in the sporting life of the country and significant for the republic since it will take place as part of the 450th anniversary of the capital of the region.

“We guarantee that the forum will be held at the highest level,” emphasized Ruslan Khabibov.

Remember that last week, the XI International Forum “Russia is a Sports Power” took place in Perm. Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed delegates from all over the country. The Head of State invited athletes from different countries to participate in the Ufa forum, the Bashinform News Agency reported.

“The forum “Russia is a sports power” will occur next year. By tradition, it always takes place in different cities of our vast country. This time, it will be the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan - Ufa. In 2024, Ufa will celebrate its 450th anniversary. Guests of the forum will participate in festive events to get acquainted with the culture, history, and heritage of another original, fascinating, and diverse region of Russia,” Vladimir Putin addressed the forum participants.

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, noted in Perm that the holding of the international forum “Russia - a sports power” in Ufa in 2024 will be an additional impetus for the development of sports and physical education both in Russia and in Bashkiria.

“Ufa is seriously preparing for its 450th anniversary. The forum will be a gift for our residents and will serve as an impetus for developing sports and physical culture both in the country and our republic,” said Radiy Khabirov.
