Andrey Arshavin visited young football players in Ufa

Russian football player, Honored Master of Sports of Russia Andrey Arshavin came to Ufa. The famous football player’s visit to the capital of Bashkiria is connected with the opening of a school of the Zenit-Championika network in the PROfootball sports complex in Zhilino. According to the Ufa administration, Andrey Arshavin played a match with the children, showing them several techniques for handling the ball. After the final whistle, he presented the young football players with a ball with his autograph. Andrey Arshavin himself was presented with the national headdress of the Bashkirs.

“The children were kicking a ball in the yard yesterday, and today, they are side by side with the star. Even though the school opened quite recently, classes are already in full swing here. About 30 guys have started training; tomorrow, they can become the country's pride,” noted the Ufa mayor’s office.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that a sports ground had opened in the Fedorovsky district of the republic. After the opening ceremony, football competitions with the participation of children and teenagers were held on the sports ground.
