Two athletes from Bashkiria became Russian champions in all-style karate
Representatives of Bashkortostan, Elena Zheltukhina and Rustem Ermakov, became Russian champions in all-style karate, the press service of the republican Ministry of Sports reported.
The competition took place in the Krasnodar region.
In the 70 kg weight category among men, the athlete from Iglino Rustem Ermakov had no equal. In the kata vado-ryu discipline, the best among women was Elena Zheltukhina from Sterlitamak.
In addition, the Bashkortostan team has three silver medals. Iskandar Basareev from Sterlitamak won two and Victoria Khramova from Ufa.
“Thanks to excellent results, all our athletes were included in the national team and will represent Russia at the World Championships, which will be held from November 5 to 8 in the Oryol region,” the Ministry of Sports of Bashkiria told to Bashinform News Agency.
