Prime Minister of Bashkiria Andrey Nazarov spoke about chess development in region

The Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria, Andrey Nazarov, discussed with the Executive Director of the Chess Federation of Russia, Alexander Tkachev, the development of chess in the republic. As Bashinform News Agency learned from Andrey Nazarov’s Telegram channel, at the meeting, the interlocutors approved the dates of chess tournaments that will be held in Ufa in 2024 at the Toratau Congress Hall.

“Alexander Tkachev thanked for the support in the development of chess in the region, especially emphasizing the importance of providing the premises of the Congress Hall that meets all the requirements for holding tournaments of the highest level,” Andrey Nazarov writes.

Also, Andrey Nazarov and Alexander Tkachev considered the possibilities of potential infrastructure for the Chess Center in the capital of Bashkiria. Also, they thought of the initiative of the Republican Chess Federation to hold the Bashkir Chess League. Another important topic of the meeting was the system of regional grants.
