

Athlete Brady Perry from the United States of America, who flew to Ufa to participate in the Summer Deaf Games “We are Together. Sport" is convinced that sports and politics should not interfere with each other and should be treated separately.
The American athlete notes that Russia is a friendly and hospitable country that is happy to welcome everyone who stands for sports and its ideals - justice, equality, and fair play.
“I believe that sports and politics should not interfere with each other and should be treated separately,” Brady Perry says.
Other athletes arriving in the capital of Bashkiria also had a warm and cordial welcome from the competition organizers. They also believe that sports should stay out of politics.
More than 700 athletes from 30 countries will come to Ufa, including Brazil, France, Turkey, Spain, the USA, Israel, Kenya, the Philippines, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, and Vietnam. More than two thousand fans will cheer for 495 Russian team members. According to the Bashinform News Agency, athletes will compete in 21 sports (badminton, handball, basketball, athletics, table tennis, swimming, mountain biking, cycling, shooting, orienteering, volleyball, karate, taekwondo, football, freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, judo, sambo, tennis, beach volleyball, and bowling). The competitions will be held at 13 sports facilities.
Summer Deaf Games “We are Together. Sport” will be held in Ufa from July 23 to August 2.
