Another 55 coaches will receive 1 million rubles this year in Bashkiria

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of Sports of Bashkiria. State sports scholarships and a Republican sports award were established in the anniversary year, Bashinform News Agency reports.

As Prime Minister of the Republican Government Andrey Nazarov said on his pages on social networks, to develop rural sports in the countryside in 2020, they were the first in the country to implement the Rural Coach project. It has become one of the best practices and has already been implemented in almost 25 regions. As part of the project, 103 trainers have already received support. This year, another 55 coaches will receive payments of 1 million rubles.

“The program is good, but it does not work in cities with a population of over 100,000 people. At a meeting of the Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports under the Head of the Region in December 2022, it was decided to implement the City Trainer project. Professionals in any business are always worth their weight in gold. I am sure that the City Coach program will become an incentive for leading coaches to stay in Bashkortostan and will help attract additional highly qualified specialists. I instructed the Ministry of Sports to provide information on the implementation of the project at the end of the year,” the Prime Minister shared.

Thanks to the new project, trainers-educators who:

• Have been living in the republic for more than 5 years and are registered as needing housing,
• live in the republic for more than 5 years, have a valid mortgage lending agreement, and are registered as needing housing,
• arrived from other regions after January 1, 2023, and worked as a coach and teacher in sports included in the register of popular positions in sports institutions, approved by the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Belarus.

Payments can be sent to:

• purchase of housing,
• purchase of a land plot for the construction of a residential building,
• mortgage repayment,
• construction of a residential building.
