Three stages of international rally "Silk Way" will be held in Bashkiria in July

Bashkiria will host stages of the Silk Way International Rally in July. The ceremonial start will take place in Ufa on July 7. According to the information agency Bashinform News Agency in the republic’s government, the rally will take place this year along the route Kazan - Ufa - Moscow, which includes nine stages. The distance of the competition will be 3-5 thousand km, of which 2-3 thousand km are dedicated sports areas. In Bashkiria, three stages of the high-speed section of the rally will be held from July 7 to 10. The race participants will pass through the territory of Abzelilovsky, Beloretsky, Uchalinsky, Baymaksky, Khaibullinsky, Zilairsky, and Zianchurinsky regions.

“Bashkortostan has vast experience in holding all-Russian and international competitions. I am sure that the Silk Way International Rally stages will be held at the highest organizational level,” said Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria Irek Sagitov.

The planned number of participants and organizers of the rally is more than 750 people from 20 countries, including more than 70 crews of athletes in the following categories: motorcycles, ATVs, buggies, SUVs, and trucks.
