Sergey Gurenko from Belarus became FC Ufa’s head coach
According to the club's Telegram channel, 50-year-old Belarusian specialist Sergei Gurenko has become the new head coach of FC Ufa. He was a Moscow Lokomotiv football player, for which he played more than 100 matches.
Sergei Gurenko began his coaching career in 2009 at Dynamo Minsk. From 2010-2012, he headed Torpedo-BelAZ. He worked in the coaching staff of Krasnodar, Spartak Nalchik, Amkar Perm, Belgian Standard, and the Serbian national team. In 2017-2018 and 2019-2020, he worked as a head coach at Dynamo Minsk. In 2021, he headed the Belarusian Shakhtar from Salihorsk.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency announced the departure of four players from FC Ufa.
