Wrestler from Bashkiria won bronze at Russian Freestyle Wrestling Championship
For the first time in the republic’s history, a wrestler from Bashkiria won a bronze medal at the Russian freestyle wrestling championship in the weight category up to 70 kg. Bashinform News Agency learned about this from the telegram channel of the Minister of Sports of the Republic Ruslan Khabibov.
According to him, the championship of Russia in wrestling among deaf people in the discipline of "freestyle wrestling" is being held in Naro-Fominsk.
“Our republic is represented at competitions by Azamat Tokmakov, a freestyle wrestler. The athlete won a bronze medal and will defend the honor of Russia as part of the national team at the international competition “Summer Games of Deaflympics. We are together. Sport”, which will be held in Ufa from July 23 to August 2, 2023,” the minister wrote.
