Palace of Wrestling monolithic frame is 85% completed in Ufa

The construction of the Palace of Struggle continues in Ufa. Alan Marzaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria, checked how the International Center for Wrestling structure is going. According to him, the general contractor manufactured and delivered the floor trusses to the construction site, and now the builders are preparing to mount them. The monolithic frame is 85% complete.

The basement and three above-ground floors have been completed, external heat and water supply networks have been installed, and storm and general sewerage installation are nearing completion. Monolithic works are being carried out on the fourth and fifth floors. Elevators and escalators have already been bought, as well as granite and an amphitheater. Works on the purchase of materials for the columns were carried out, and the production of stained-glass facade glazing was started.

The project will be implemented by the 450th anniversary of the city of Ufa. The area of the building will be 28,000 square meters, and the place for construction will be 42,700 square meters.

The Palace of Wrestling will house a children's and youth sports school, a hotel for athletes coming to competitions, a restaurant, sports bars, and a fitness center with a 25-meter swimming pool, the Bashinform News Agency reported earlier. The four-story building is being built in a classical style with columns around the perimeter. The architectural concept suggests a reference to Ancient Greece.

The Palace of Wrestling will be able to host regional, all-Russian, and international competitions in sports and freestyle wrestling, sambo, judo, national wrestling, kuresh, and martial arts.
