Athletes from Bashkiria won Russian badminton championship

The individual championship of Russia in badminton among juniors under 19 was held in St. Petersburg from March 14 to March 17. As the Republican Ministry informed Bashinform News Agency of Sports press service, the Bashkiria Idel Davletbaev (Mezhgorye) and Galina Mezentseva (Ufa) athletes became winners of the competition.

Idel Davletbaev won a silver medal in the men's doubles. The athlete also fulfilled the requirements and conditions for conferring the title Master of Sports of Russia in badminton. Due to injury, Galina Mezentseva competed in only two doubles; in one, she won a bronze medal in mixed doubles.
