Ufa foil fencer Adelina Zagidullina won bronze at international competitions in Iran

A foil fencer from Ufa, Olympic fencing champion Adelina Zagidullina won a bronze medal at international competitions in Iran, the Bashkirian Ministry of Sports told the Bashinform News Agency. The foil fencer defeated Arina Kamaldinova in the quarterfinals - 15:5.

Adelina Zagidullina performed in Tehran at the NOWRUZ GAH Fening Olympiad tournament. Athletes in all types of weapons in the individual championship participate in the competition.

Earlier, Adelina Zagidullina became the bronze medalist of the All-Russian fencing competitions in Novogorsk, Moscow Region. In the quarterfinals, the fencer won a confident victory over Vladislava Penyushkina (Moscow) with a score of 15:8, the Bashinform News Agency reported.
