Nokhcho Labazanov became the bronze medalist of the Russian Greco-Roman wrestling championship. According to the Ministry of Sports of Bashkiria, the wrestler from Ufa won the fight with Marat Kamparov from Moscow in the weight category up to 130 kg.
Recall that Nokhcho Labazanov lost to two-time Olympic medalist Sergei Semyonov in the semifinals.
The Russian Greco-Roman wrestling championship ended in Ufa the day before. The tournament was held at the Rima Batalova sports training center. It was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, where the wrestlers of the USSR national team triumphantly won 8 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals in two types of wrestling, securing the first team place for the Soviet Union team, the Bashinform News Agency reported.
