Ufa Promise Run organizers will increase prize medals

The organizers of the Promise Run in the capital of Bashkiria promised to increase the number of finishing medals for participants next year. Regarding the official comment of the chairman of the committee on physical culture and sports of the administration of the Oktyabrsky district, Leonid Ilyin, this was reported in Republic Management Center.

The Promise Run and the Costume Run are festive events aimed at organizing healthy leisure and promoting a healthy lifestyle among residents. The main thing is participation, so the organizers did not provide for determining the winners and awarding them. In future starts, we will increase the number of incentive medals,” Leonid Ilyin wrote in response to a request from social media users.

As Bashinform News Agency wrote earlier, the traditional sports event was held on January 1 in Ufa and other regions of Bashkiria. Under the terms of the Promise Run, its participants had to run a symbolic 2023 meters to fulfill their desires.

Over two thousand people came to the start of the race in Ufa, which allowed the Bashkir capital to outstrip Moscow and other Russian cities in terms of the number of participants.
