

HC Salavat Yulaev topped the rating of the Continental Hockey League following the results of the 17th week of the KHL regular season and became the leader of the team strength index.
Last time Lokomotiv Yaroslavl occupied the highest line of the team strength index.
Strength Index is a rating calculated mathematically based on performance in the current season. The strength index shows which hockey teams are currently strong, beat the favorites, and give out long winning streaks (one team takes 25% of its points from the other for a victory in regulation time, 12.5% in case of a victory in overtime or shootouts).
