Salavat Yulaev beat Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg in overtime
In the final match of 2022, Salavat Yulaev held a charity event and collected 2,667,000 rubles for seriously ill children.
Ufa hosted the final home game of Salavat Yulaev this year on December 26. The Ufa team played with Avtomobilist from Yekaterinburg.
The match was dynamic from the beginning. Brooke Macek and Nick Ebert were sent off for blocking and pushing. Despite the rapid attacks of the guests, Salavat Yulaev opened the score. The hosts ended the first period with a win.
In the second period, in the 25th minute of the match, the guests equalized the score. However, after 12 minutes, Salavat Yulaev again scored a goal - 2:1.
At the end of the third period, the score was level again.
Salavat Yulaev won in overtime. The puck was thrown by Sergey Shmelev - 3:2.
"Salavat Yulaev" in this match held a charity event, "Mishkopad". Before the game, the fans bought soft toys in the lobby of the Ufa Arena, and after the match, they threw them on the ice. Leading enterprises of the republic, as well as philanthropists, took part in the action. During the game, a total of 2,667,000 rubles were collected. All proceeds will be donated to the treatment of seriously ill children, the Bashinform News Agency reported.
